Kids' decorative letters with a coloured outline and an inner grained panel in a warm shade. Sea life silhouettes rise from that background in the same colour as the outline: an octopus, shoals of fish, a turtle and seaweed. The figures are arranged along the stroke of each character, not in a fixed position. The contrast between the cool outline and the toasted background is what defines the piece.
Material: plant-based PLA
We make these letters from PLA (polylactic acid), a biopolymer that does not come from petroleum but from renewable plant sources such as maize or sugar cane. Unlike conventional plastics, PLA is compostable in industrial composting facilities (not in a home compost bin), which gives it a more responsible life cycle.
We combine it with natural materials sourced from recycled waste. This gives those materials a new use and gives each finish its own character. Made to order, with no overproduction.
