About Building Bricks
Personalised bricks are construction toys adapted with a child's name, colour and chosen theme. Fluxenna makes each name toy to order using its own handcrafted process, in 24 hours. The pieces are produced in high-quality materials and are compatible with standard building blocks. They make a personalised gift for a child's birthday, a baby shower or the early years.
Why choose a personalised construction toy?
A personalised construction toy solves two problems at once. On one hand, building play develops fine motor skills, spatial reasoning and concentration from the age of 3. On the other, personalisation turns a generic piece into an object with an identity: the child recognises their name, links it to the toy and stays engaged with it for longer.
Unlike mass-market blocks, Fluxenna bricks are made to order in Spain. That means zero overproduction and a production time of 24 hours from order confirmation. Delivery takes 3-5 working days and is free on orders over 45 €. Made using our own handcrafted process, the pieces have an estimated lifespan of more than 5 years with normal household use and withstand temperatures of up to 55 °C, which is more than enough for any child's bedroom.
Types of personalised bricks and building pieces
This category includes four variants, each designed for a different age and use:
Name bricks
The classic name toy: blocks that spell out the child's name, stackable and combinable. When they are not being played with, they work as a decorative piece on a shelf. They pair with our children's decorative letters to decorate the whole room.
Themed bricks
Pieces with dinosaur, space or unicorn motifs, in line with Fluxenna's themed children's lamps. The theme is chosen in the configurator before production.
Compatible personalised building pieces
Blocks designed to fit standard construction systems. They let you expand existing collections with pieces no catalogue offers: the child's name, a date or a custom shape.
Gift sets
Fixed combinations designed as a child's birthday present or a baby shower gift, in a box ready to hand over. If you are looking for inspiration, we have gathered several options in our guide to personalised construction toys that spark creativity.
How to choose the right personalised brick
- The child's age. From 3 years, because of the size of the pieces. For babies, choose large formats with no small detachable parts. We cover this in detail in how to choose a personalised brick by age.
- Intended use. Daily active play, a decorative piece with a name or a one-off gift: each determines the size and number of pieces.
- Compatibility. If you already have standard blocks at home, prioritise the compatible personalised building pieces.
- Personalisation. Decide on the name, colours (terracotta, sage green, night blue, among others) and theme before ordering.
- Budget. Small sets start at a guide price of €15-25; complete gift sets at €30-60.
Personalised bricks vs. other toy options
| Criterion | Fluxenna bricks | Wooden toy | Catalogue blocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Material | High-quality materials, handcrafted process | Natural wood, sometimes untreated | Mass-produced plastic |
| Personalisation | Total: name, colour, shape, theme | Limited to an engraved name | None or minimal |
| Estimated durability | More than 5 years | Very high, decades with care | Varies by manufacturer |
| Delivery time | 24 h production + 3-5 days delivery | Usually 1-3 weeks from craftspeople | Immediate in store |
| Guide price | €15-60 depending on the set | €25-80 | €10-40 |
| Best for | A personalised child's gift with a name and theme | Those who prioritise natural materials | Quick, low-cost top-ups |
To be honest: if you only want natural wood, a specialist woodturner is a better choice. If what matters is full personalisation, a short lead time and compatibility with existing blocks, Fluxenna bricks win on flexibility. We compare both approaches in personalised vs. catalogue construction toys.
A personalised educational toy as a gift
A personalised educational toy works especially well on three occasions: birthdays from ages 3 to 7, baby showers and first Christmases. The name on it makes the gift one of a kind: nobody else turns up with the same one. To round off the gift, personalised cookie cutters and children's letters let you put together a coherent gift bundle.
Made-to-measure personalisation with Fluxenna
Each brick is configured before it is made: you choose the name, colour combination and theme (dinosaurs, space, unicorns). Fluxenna's own handcrafted process produces the piece to order in 24 hours, with no existing stock and no overproduction. We make in Spain and ship throughout Europe in 3-5 working days, with free shipping on orders over 45 €. If you need a shape or size that is not in the configurator, write to us: we consider custom requests.

Frequently asked questions
Personalized bricks are construction toys adapted to the child: they carry their name, the chosen colors and a theme such as dinosaurs, space or unicorns. Fluxenna makes them to order in its own artisan process in Spain, in stackable pieces compatible with common standard blocks.
We recommend the bricks from age 3 because of the piece size. For babies and baby showers, there are large formats with no small removable parts, intended as a decorative piece with a name. Between 3 and 7 years they most strongly boost fine motor skills and spatial reasoning.
Each personalised brick is made to order within 24 hours of order confirmation. Delivery then takes 3-5 working days to peninsular Spain, with coverage across Europe. In total, you will receive your order about a week after purchase.
You can choose the name or text, the color combination (terracotta, sage green, night blue, among others) and the theme: dinosaurs, space or unicorns. Everything is configured before manufacturing. If you need a shape or size outside the configurator, write to us and we'll review the custom request.
Small sets of personalised bricks start from an indicative range of €15-25, and complete gift sets from €30-60. Shipping is free on orders over 45 €, so many gift packs arrive with no extra delivery cost.
The pieces are made from high-quality materials in our own artisan process, with an estimated durability of over 5 years and resistance to temperatures up to 55°C. Each piece is checked before shipping; should it arrive with a manufacturing defect, we replace it free of charge.
