Stackable decorative letters in a slab serif typeface: square serifs and an even stroke weight. The serifs rest on the surface and lower the centre of gravity, so each letter stands upright without a stand. The edge is straight and visible all the way round, which lets you stack and group the letters. Across the full range they come in saturated colours, one shade per letter, with an even matt finish.
Material: plant-based PLA
We make the letters from PLA (polylactic acid), a biopolymer that does not come from petroleum but from renewable plant sources such as maize or sugar cane. Unlike conventional plastics, PLA is compostable in industrial composting facilities (not in a home compost bin), which gives it a more responsible life cycle.
We combine it with natural materials sourced from recycled waste. This gives those materials a new use and gives each finish its own character. Made to order, with no overproduction.
