Personalised dimensional letters that lift each stroke off the wall and cast a band of shadow beneath every character. The shadow moves throughout the day depending on where the light comes from. From the front you see the colour; from the side the edge appears and the letter gains depth. On a white wall the effect is a clean relief, with no frame or background around it.
Material: plant-based PLA
We use PLA (polylactic acid), a biopolymer made from maize and sugar cane instead of petroleum. Unlike conventional plastics, PLA is compostable in industrial composting facilities (not in a home compost bin), which gives the dimensional letters a more responsible end of life.
We combine it with natural materials from recycled waste, giving them a new use. Each piece is made when someone orders it: no stock and no surplus.

Where they work and how they look
Dimensional letters can mark a name on a door, top a shelf or finish off a living-room wall. They suit Nordic, industrial or Mediterranean interiors and pair well with earthy tones, natural textiles and exposed metal structures. The more the light comes from the side, the more the depth stands out.
