Matched to your selection: same colour and personalisation
Personalised Soft Waves decorative letters: the initial keeps the straight stroke of a classic capital, but its whole outline moves in continuous waves, like the scalloped edge of a biscuit. At the front, the name in joined-up calligraphy in a second colour, built into the same piece.
The edge changes everything
The wave is not an ornament added to one corner: it runs around the entire perimeter, up the sides, round the serifs and back down again. Inside, the front face is set one level below the edge, so the letter works like a small frame: the outline stands high, the background sits low, and between the two a shadow appears that moves with the light in the room throughout the day. From a distance you read a clean initial; up close, a two-level relief.
Sizes and details
- Heights: six sizes, from 5 to 30 cm. The height refers to the whole piece, including the name.
- A single piece: edge, recessed background and name arrive joined. Nothing to assemble and nothing to come unstuck.
- Two colours to choose: one for the initial and one for the name, from 25 shades.
- Fonts: more than 50 styles for the name, from fine strokes to bold calligraphy.
- Wide base: the letter stands upright with no extra support or stand.
Where it looks good
The scalloped edge has a Nordic feel with a slightly retro touch, so it sits well with light wood, woven baskets and linen textiles. On a children's shelf at 20 or 25 cm, the Soft Waves letter is the piece that anchors the corner; at 10 cm it keeps the books company on a bedside table. In greyish blue or stone grey it looks calm in a nursery; in red, terracotta or grass green it becomes the pop of colour in a neutral room. It works just as well on a chest of drawers, a desk or a headboard.
Personalisation
You choose the initial, type the name, select the height and pick the two colours separately: one for the wavy body and one for the name. The calligraphy adjusts to the width of the initial so the whole name fits, whether short or long.
Production and delivery
Made to order in Spain in about 24 hours from when you confirm the design, with delivery usually in 3-5 days. Only what is ordered is made, with no overproduction and no idle stock.
Frequently asked questions
Is the inside hollow?
No. The front face is recessed below the edge, which creates the frame effect. It is a decorative recess, not a compartment.
Does the height include the name?
Yes. The size you choose is the total height of the piece, including the initial and the name that crosses it.
What about long names?
The calligraphy adapts to the width of the initial. For names with many letters it is best to go for 20 cm or more so the stroke reads comfortably.
Can the name include accents and special characters?
Yes. Accents and characters such as é, ñ or ü are reproduced exactly as you type them in your order.
