Customised Vases: Contemporary Sculptures with a Unique Identity
Designer authorship and advanced customisation in bespoke vases for interiors
At the intersection of industrial design and decorative art lie our customised vases. A vase is not merely a container; it is a centrepiece that dictates the visual rhythm of a room. In our collection, we elevate this everyday object by allowing the integration of text, names, and brands, turning each piece into a statement of intent. It is no longer about searching for the perfect flower vase to fit your living room, but about creating it from scratch according to your own aesthetic and narrative criteria.
Our bespoke vases are manufactured using advanced additive manufacturing processes. This approach allows us to achieve complex geometries, architectural textures, and typographic customisation that traditional ceramics cannot offer with the same precision. It is a product designed for a discerning audience that values exclusivity, sophistication, and purposeful design, whether for personal enjoyment or as one of the best options for customised vases for gifts.
Much more than a container: The importance of detail
The customisation of high-end objects responds to a growing trend in interior design: the search for singularity. By acquiring a personalised vase, the user ceases to be a passive consumer and becomes a co-creator. The inclusion of a name, a corporate brand, or an inspiring motto transforms the piece into an object with memory.
In professional contexts, a vase that integrates a brand’s visual identity (such as a logo or a slogan) into its very structure projects an image of unparalleled sophistication and attention to detail. For the home, the ability to engrave meaningful words allows the design to dialogue directly with the household inhabitants, creating an emotional connection that mass-produced objects can never replicate.
Curated Styles: From Architectural Minimalism to Contemporary Rustic
We have segmented our collection into design lines that respond to the most current trends in professional interior design, ensuring that each custom vase is a piece of art in its own right, even without flowers.
Minimalist and Geometric Line
Inspired by brutalism and Nordic design, this line is characterised by clean surfaces, defined angles, and absolute sobriety. Here, typographic customisation is achieved using modern sans-serif fonts, making the text appear to emerge from the vase's own structure. It is the preferred choice for offices, architectural studios, and homes with a minimal aesthetic.
Organic and Contemporary Rustic Line
For those seeking warmth, our personalised flower vases in an organic style emulate shapes from nature, such as water ripples or stony textures. The use of earth tones, ochres, and matte finishes in PLA allows these vases to fit perfectly into Wabi-sabi or modern rustic decors, where the customised name or text integrates fluidly and discreetly among the textures.
Corporate and Branding Line
Specially designed for hotels, restaurants, and corporate headquarters. This line allows for the inclusion of brand logos with astonishing technical fidelity. A customised flower vase in an establishment's reception not only decorates but also communicates the company’s values, showing a clear commitment to innovation and service personalisation.
Durability and Environmental Awareness
The choice of material is fundamental to guaranteeing the premium quality of our bespoke flower vases. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a plant-based biodegradable polymer that offers competitive advantages over traditional materials:
- Strength and Lightness: Unlike glass or ceramics, our vases are resistant to minor impacts and accidental drops, making them ideal for high-traffic areas or professional zones.
- Infinite Colour Finishes: We offer a colour palette that includes metallic, satin, and matte tones. This allows the personalised vase to be chromatically adjusted to a brand’s identity or the colour palette of a specific interior design project.
- Real Sustainability: As a material derived from renewable resources, the environmental impact is significantly lower than that of petroleum-derived plastics or high-energy ceramic firing processes.
It is important to note that, due to the nature of layered 3D printing, these vases are ideal for dried or preserved flowers, or as purely decorative pieces. For use with natural flowers, we recommend using an insert or an internal sealing treatment to ensure total long-term watertightness.
The art of gifting: Personalised vases for gifts
When looking for customised vases for gifts, we are searching for an object that transcends utility. A vase with a person’s name, an anniversary date, or a word that defines a relationship becomes a symbol.
These types of gifts are especially valued for housewarmings, weddings, company anniversaries, or retirements. Being a non-perishable product (unlike the flowers themselves), the bespoke vase remains as a testament to the moment. The ability to choose from different sizes and shapes allows the gift to adapt to the recipient’s space, from small desk vases to large floor pieces that act as focal points.
Frequently Asked Questions about Personalised Vases
Q: Can I include my company logo on the customised vases?
A: Absolutely. The precision of our 3D technology allows for the integration of logos and corporate typography with great detail. It is an excellent solution for branding in hospitality and corporate events.
Q: What kind of maintenance do these personalised vases require?
A: PLA is a very simple material to maintain. Simply wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust. As it is not porous like unglazed ceramic, it does not absorb stains easily.
Q: Why are bespoke vases a good gift option?
A: Because they combine utility and exclusivity. When choosing customised vases for gifts, you are offering a piece that has been thought of specifically for the recipient, which elevates the perceived value of the gesture compared to any conventional shop-bought option.
Q: Are they suitable for holding water directly?
A: Although PLA is water-resistant, the micro-layers of 3D printing may show minimal leaks over time under constant pressure. We recommend their primary use with dried or preserved flowers, or using an inner container if you wish to use natural flowers with water.
FAQs
Personalized vases are decorative pieces with a name, a date or a message worked into the design itself. Unlike a catalog vase, they carry a specific reference: the couple's name, the date of a wedding or the recipient's initials. They work as a gift with keepsake value.
A vase has a wider, more versatile format; a bud vase is vertical and slim, intended for long-stemmed flowers. Personalized bud vases of 35-45 cm are the most ordered format for Mother's Day. Both can be engraved with a name, date or phrase and are made to order.
Each vase first goes through a 3D design where the shape, dimensions, color and position of the engraving are set. It is then made to order in our own artisan process within 48 hours of order confirmation. The name or date is integrated during manufacturing, not stuck on afterwards.
The price of a personalized vase ranges from 25 to 65 euros depending on size and complexity of the engraving. A vase with a name of 25-35 cm is around 30-50 euros; a 40 cm bud vase for Mother's Day, 40-65 euros. Shipping is free from 60 euros.
The total time is 48 hours of manufacturing plus 3-5 business days of shipping to mainland Spain. For a wedding or anniversary with a fixed date, we recommend ordering at least 10 days in advance. If time is tight, write to us before purchasing at hola@fluxenna.com and we'll confirm.
You can personalize the engraved name or text, the font, the color, the shape (fluted, organic or cylindrical) and the size between 15 and 45 cm. For a personalized wedding vase there are fields for the two names, the date and a motif such as rings or interlaced initials. There is no minimum order.
Yes. Fluxenna's personalized vases are made from high-quality materials that withstand direct contact with fresh flowers, water and the usual indoor temperature changes. The engraving does not fade with use or cleaning. Estimated durability under normal household conditions is over 10 years.
