Personalised Droplet letters: the initial keeps the firm stroke of a capital, but its whole outline moves in rounded droplets, one after another, like the scalloped trim stitched along the edge of a cot blanket. At the front, the name in joined-up calligraphy crosses the letter from side to side, in a different colour.
An edge you touch before you read
The droplets do not decorate one corner: they grow out of the profile and run all the way round it. They climb the diagonal, turn at the apex and come down to rest on the shelf, where they act as feet. Inside, the front face is recessed below the edge and forms a shallow tray, so each section of the initial reads as a compartment with its own shadow. The central opening repeats the idea and closes in a point, just like a hanging droplet.
