The script place card writes each guest's name in a single continuous stroke, mounted on a matching base that keeps it upright. It marks the seat at the table during the celebration and, once the event is over, carries on as a name sign on a shelf or a side table.

Design and detail

The calligraphy is joined-up with an even stroke weight, the letters linked from start to finish as if written in one go. The stroke is not flat: the edges are slightly bevelled, so light runs along every curve and brings out the volume even from the front. The base is low and straight, and visually disappears to leave the name centre stage.

Features

  • Name in continuous joined-up calligraphy, in a single piece with the base.
  • Bevelled edges that give the stroke relief and depth.
  • Low rectangular base: the place card stands on its own with no support or prop.
  • Four widths, from 5 to 15 cm, and heat resistance in use up to 55 °C.

How to style it

In stone grey on oak and linen, it creates a calm Nordic corner next to a lamp and a few books. In sky blue or dusty pink it becomes a christening favour and a name sign for a child's room. In bone white or sage green it suits wedding tables with natural linens and eucalyptus foliage. The larger widths look best on a shelf; the smaller ones, on the plate.

Personalisation

Type the name and choose from more than 50 fonts, from soft rounded scripts to finer slanted calligraphy. Available in more than 20 colours and four widths, so you can order as many place cards as there are guests at the table.

Each place card is made to order in about 24 h and delivered in 3-5 days, so it is worth finalising the list well ahead of the event date.

Frequently asked questions

Is it only for the event table?
No. The base keeps the place card upright on any surface, so afterwards it works just as well on a shelf, a bedside table or in a child's room.

Which width should I choose?
8 to 12 cm to mark the seat on an individual plate. 15 cm reads better as a decorative sign or on the top table.

Can I order a different name on each place card?
Yes. Each piece is personalised separately, so the whole guest list fits in a single order.

At Fluxenna, quality is non-negotiable. That is why we follow a strict workflow:

  • Made to Measure: Every piece is made to order within 2 working days, ensuring thorough quality control and the post-processing needed for a professional finish.

  • Transparent Logistics: Once your piece is finished, your order is dispatched straight away. You can check the delivery times and costs for your location during checkout, before you complete your order
