Personalised Zig Zag letters: the initial keeps the structure of a sans-serif capital, but its outline moves in fine, regular teeth, as if the profile had been cut with pinking shears. At the front, the name in joined-up calligraphy, built into the same piece.
An outline with rhythm
The zig zag does not decorate one particular area: it wraps the whole letter, up the verticals, down the diagonals and onto the surface with the same teeth, which act as feet. Inside, the front face is recessed below the edge and forms a shallow tray, so each stroke of the initial reads as a compartment with its own shadow. The result is part die-cut stamp, part cut-out biscuit, with the geometric order of a design piece.
