Pleated Table Lamp with Matt Base

Fluted Geometry and Ambient Light

This luminaire reinterprets the classic lampshade through a polymer body with vertical fluted texture. Its truncated conical design merges organically with a solid cylindrical base, creating a continuous silhouette that balances visual weight with structural lightness. Designed to act as a luminous focal point without over-saturating the space.

The Atmospheric Diffusion Experience

The pleated structure of the shade is not merely aesthetic; it acts as a technical diffuser that fragments the light from the central bulb.

• When switched on: Projects a soft, omnidirectional glow that eliminates harsh shadows, ideal for side tables or kitchen worktops.

• When switched off: The piece maintains a sculptural presence thanks to the contrast between the rhythmic upper texture and the smooth finish of the base.

Digital Craftsmanship & Construction

• Body (Shade): Semi-translucent polymer with a constant vertical ribbing pattern. The material allows for uniform, warm light transmission (especially visible in the orange variant).
• Base: Support cylinder with a solid matt finish. Available in mustard yellow, graphite black, and burgundy, providing stability and chromatic contrast.
• Aesthetics: The join between the shade and the base features a fluid transition, concealing the internal fixing mechanism to maintain visual purity.

Technical Specifications

• Dimensions (Approximate): Height 23 cm x Diameter 18-20 cm.
• Electrical System: Wired with a rear outlet in the base. White cable visible on the yellow variant.
• Light Source: Compatible with filament LED bulbs (visible in orange variant) to enhance the decorative effect.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Is the shade material as fragile as glass? No. Visually it offers the flexibility and strength of a technical polymer, making it more resistant to light impacts than traditional glass shades.
• What type of light does it emit? It emits a diffuse ambient light. It is not a direct focal light for precision reading, but rather accompaniment or "mood lighting".
• Does the surface get hot? By using recommended LED bulbs, heat transfer to the outer body is minimal or non-existent.
• Does the pleated lamp provide enough light for reading? This luminaire is designed for diffuse ambient lighting. Although it provides clarity, its main function is atmospheric, so an additional support light is recommended for intensive reading.
• How do I clean the fluted texture shade? Due to its vertical folds, it is recommended to use compressed air or an electrostatic duster to remove dust from the grooves without damaging the finish.
