Monthly milestone cards turn a baby's first year into a photo series with a common thread: they mark each milestone and keep the series consistent. Each card is engraved with a different moon phase. Placed in order, the twelve cards run through a complete cycle: it is the only set in the collection that tells a story on its own.
Design and detail
The phase is engraved in the upper half of the disc, with a bevelled edge on the recess so that the shadow draws the line between light and dark. Below it sit the month in calligraphy and three tiny stars. The name card carries the full moon.
